After quite a bit of interest recently in finding out about how a Solar Kiln works, Solar Wood Kiln Design decided to put on a 1 day course Seasoning wood with the sun an introduction to Solar Kiln Design and Operation on Saturday 28th May 2005, this was very popular and a huge success. The feedback was very encouraging and they have now decided to put on a further two courses this summer. The course is aimed at businesses or individuals wanting to build (or have built) a Solar Kiln, it will introduce timber drying principles and kiln design, and it will also be a practical guide on how to build a Solar Kiln. If you would like to know more about Solar Kilns why not join us on one of these short one day courses. It will be a practical introduction to drying wood using a Solar Kiln and also an opportunity to meet others with similar ideas.
