Members of the Association of Environmentally Conscious Building

The Association for Environment Conscious Building are at the forefront of promoting sustainable construction in the UK.

  • 15th and 16th July 2005. Ecobuilding Conference 2005, Taunton Somserset. Share and understand the solutions to sustainable construction and take the opportunity to network with other members. With a lively and thought provoking range of workshops combined with the opportunity to visit The Genesis Project. This year our Big Debate focuses on what must truly be the core issue for all members of the AECB: The sustainability of the built environment, and the ways we can ensurethat buildings meet the needs of future generations. As AECB members we know that it is technically possible to build in a much more sustainable way, but is the political will there to really do it, and in particular, can the Planning system be brought into line with this way of thinking. If not, will it be the planning system which sends future generations to oblivion?
