Solar Wood Kiln Design are a specialist firm, offering environmentally low-impact Kiln Dried timber and furniture. They have uniquely-developed a solar-powered method of drying timber, and now offer courses to anyone interested in learning more about this method.
Saturday August 13th, 10:30 - 16:30, Cardigan, Pembrokeshire.
After quite a bit of interest recently in finding out about how a Solar Kiln works, Solar Wood Kiln Design decided to put on a 1 day course 'Seasoning wood with the sun' an introduction to Solar Kiln Design and Operationon Saturday 28th May 2005, this was very popular and a huge success. The feedback was very encouraging and they have now decided to put on a further two courses this summer. The course is aimed at businesses or individuals wanting to build (or have built) a Solar Kiln, it will introduce timber drying principles and kiln design, and it will also be a practical guide on how to build a Solar Kiln.
