Davies has significant Timber and Timber Frame experience having held a number of high-level positions with local and national companies. His early career included "hands-on" experience building high-specification Swedish-style Timber Frame houses in the mid 1980’s. Since then he has worked in Sales and Management within the Timber and Building Materials industry and in the Information Technology sector. He has served on the governing bodies at local and national level for The Institute of Wood Science, The Builders Merchants Federation and the Institute of Builders Merchants.
