Richard admits to being “absolutely passionate about Business and Information Systems and is proud to be recognised in his hometown for his efforts. “These were my two favourite subjects and I’m obviously thrilled – and surprised – to come back home and win two Awards…I need to come home more often!
The Awards event at Caldicot School is held annually to reward and recognise those students who have continued to excel in their subjects since leaving the secondary school.
Richard is currently working for Caldicot timber building firm Benfield ATT in a pivotal role, driving improvements to the company’s in-house Technical Information Systems. The role includes updating and digitising the company’s extensive Library, allowing staff, architects and customers easy access to thousands of important documents relating to the building of home extensions, houses, flats and public buildings.
“We applaud Richard’s efforts and congratulate him for winning both of these awards. We immediately recognised Richard’s potential and have already asked him to come back and help Benfield ATT, Caldicot whenever he returns home from University commented Veronica Clarke, Head of Personnel at Benfield ATT.
