With millions of intrigued shoppers looking on, two couples compete to design, build and finish their dream homes within two weeks!
Pushing themselves to the limits, the couples have been working with a specialist team of Timber Frame architects, designers, engineers and erectors to design, build and furnish their dream homes in the extremely tight time frame.
Not only is this building site in the middle of one of the busiest shopping centres in the country – as if that wasn’t enough pressure – but the contestant’s every move will be televised on ITV1 and Discovery Home & Leisure from June 2004.
The factual programme will delve deeper into the construction process than any other television show, with video diaries and true ‘hands-on’ participation. It will explain many of the innovative materials chosen, detail the entire process and involve many of the leading industry experts.
