Formed in 1995 to provide high quality homes for 'self-builders', after its recent acquisition by Benfield ATT the company's extensive experience in the survey, design, planning, engineering, manufacture and erection of environmentally sustainable, energy efficient timber frame homes will now also be available to our new Property Development division.
Key Tasks will include -
- Site selection and valuation, including market and gap assessments
- Negotiation with land owners, planning authorities, and others
- Legalities of property purchase, sale, and building contracts
- Determining house and site design, including the instruction of architectural, landscape and interior designers
- The setting and control of cost and time budgets
- Pricing policy and determination
- Development phasing and timing
- Pre-arrangement of mortgage finance for buyers
- Marketing and promotion
While ideally the successful candidate will already be experienced in housing and other property development, the position could be filled by a highly motivated, well qualified construction, architectural, engineering, or surveying graduate with at least 3 years post qualification experience. Membership/s of appropriate professional institutions would be beneficial (e.g. RICS, CIOB).

- clear insight of and vision to satisfy market trends
- familiarity with latest IT tools and software, including project management
- dedicated ambition to achieving a senior position in a growing national organisation
