Formally constituted in June 2000, the Welsh Timber Forum aims to represent and support SMEs working with or wishing to work with Welsh timber, by:
- Providing a channel for consultation between the SME sector in wales and public / private sector organisations.
- Providing a networking and awareness raising opportunity across the breadth of the SME timber sector in Wales.
- Helping develop the Welsh timber supply chain both short and long term and to support marketing of Welsh timber products.
- Developing interaction with colleges and university departments to
- Facilitating and encouraging group projects and activities.
Benfield ATT work closely with the Welsh Timber Forum and regularly speak at their seminars, events and exhibitions.
